KRadio is a comfortable KDE4/Linux internet and AM/FM radio application. The initial release was written for KDE2 by Frank Schwanz. In Jan. 2002 I took over the project to add "some" new features. In the meantime, kradio "survived" a complete modular rewrite in order to support a comfortable plugin concept and the porting to KDE3 and now KDE4. KRadio is now hopefully one of the most comfortable and feature-rich Linux radio applications.

	Dear KRadio Users! Finally, KRadio4 4.0.0 has been released! About half a year ago the porting of the original KDE3 application to KDE4 started. Now, about 6 months, 400 subversion repository commits and tons of fixed bugs later, KRadio4 is now ready for release. KRadio4 brings some new features such as Internet Radio, RDS support, DBus interfacing and Keyboard Shortcuts. Furthermore, almost all issues known from the KDE3 release should be fixed in KRadio4. You can find details of the changes in the ChangeLog. KRadio4 has been made possible last but not least due to the extreme patient debugging of many users, due to the continuous effort of translators with ever changing translation strings and due to support by many others. Thanks a lot to everyone! Additionally, a FAQ is available on http://kradio.sourceforge.net/faq.html which hopefully already answers many questions. If you have new ones, please let me know. Anyway, there is still a lot work to do on KRadio. There are still a lot of preset files in my email in-box which have not yet been processed due to the development downtime in the past. Your help is highly appreciated! It would be an honor to welcome you as developer, translator, or contributor in any other sense!
